Course Objectives
Equip divers with advanced knowledge of deep diving beyond recreational level (to 45 meters)
Develop skills to safely plan and execute dives using enriched air and decompression gas mixes
Provide hands-on experience with advanced dive planning, gas management, and decompression procedures
Enhance buoyancy control and underwater navigation skills for deep dives
Foster a deep understanding of dive physiology and gas narcosis management
Cultivate the correct mindset for safe and rewarding advanced nitrox diving

Course Structure
Theory Session (circa 3 hours)
3 - 4 dive days of 2 dives a day, actual training plan is customizable between instructor and team of students, with location also one of the deciding factors
Pre-requisites
PSAI Advanced Buoyancy Control (ABC) Diver or equivalent preparatory courses of other agencies
Rescue Diver Level or higher (Recreational perspective)
Training Location and Course Fees
Subic Bay or Puerto Galera, the Philippines
While both training locations are very well-suited for Advanced Nitrox diver training, they do differ on a few details such as logistics, equipment and dive planning. Talk to me for more details.
Instructor Fee is US$800
Other costs: travelling, food and accommodation, diving charges, oxygen fill (where applicable), team-sharing of instructor diving costs, etc.
Certification Requirements
Students need to demonstrate proficiency in planning and executing a technical dive up to 45 meters using the correct gas mix for bottom phase and decompression phase. Students should be able to carry out the dives with stablity, with all-rounded awarenesses covering buoyancy control and trim, the environment, buddy, equipment and the diver him/herself. Students should also be proficient with exercising problem-solving skills at depth.
A written exam that covers the theoretical aspect of Advanced Nitrox Diving. Passing mark is 80%.
